Thank you for stopping by at our NEW, improved and updated web site for 2023. This year sees us celebrate over 39 years in this wonderful hobby as a club. Over those years there has been numerous changes both in our club, and the world of bonsai. There have been so many changes, most of all the everyday use of the internet and social media. We still continue to grow as a friendly social bonsai club.
This year we have moved location to Dunkirk Village Hall. This location has a large carpark, floor space with underfloor heating most of all its lighting is better suited for our hobby. You will find these comfortable surroundings a joy to visit. During the summer months we have the option of opening the doors to the raised deck area where we can sit to work on our trees or for a chat.

Kent Bonsai Club was first formed back in the Summer of 1985 following an advert in the Whitstable Times asking for people who liked Bonsai Trees to help form the Club.

The Kent Bonsai Club hold monthly meetings that you and your Family would be most welcome to attend. The club is keen to demystify and promote the art of all areas bonsai. If you are just starting out, slightly interested or have a large collection of specimen bonsai you will have a great time at our meetings. We meet on the Second Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise stated in the programme, at 19:00hrs. See the contact page on how to find us. At Kent Club we pride ourselves on having a friendly social bonsai club with members who have many years of experience and new members who are just starting out on this wonderful hobby of ours.
Have a look at the 2024 programme, you will find our Club nights full of enjoyment with both Bonsai workshops within the Club and visiting Professional speakers from the world of Bonsai. 2024 will be an outstanding year of MORE visiting guests. We have senior members who have been invited to show their trees at both local and National Events. The Club has been invited to the Top Club Show in the U.K during 2024 at Heathrow. We will be visiting garden centres and are looking forward to further demonstrations throughout the year. During the year we have been invited to display our trees during national events like Hamami.
