KENT BONSAI CLUB LATE SPRING SHOW 2023
Dunkirk Village Hall, London Road, Dunkirk, Kent. ME13 9LG.
Since this club was established back in the mid-eighties, it has held an annual show, usually the 2nd Sunday of May every year, apart from the covid years. Many people attending the show this year had some difficulties due to so many road works in the local area, but when they eventually arrived at the hall, they were greeted with an amazing display of some 80 trees. Accompanying the tree display was a workshop with Clifford Manville working on a Scots Pine through the day with the visiting public asking questions. There were no traders at this event, but club members ran a sales table through the day with tea and cakes serve up for refreshments. It was the best attended show for many years with the general public eagerly voting for their favourite tree, the best tree will be announced at the next club meeting. We would ask people to mark their diaries with next year provisional show date of the 12May24. Kent Bonsai Society Show

Club Accent plants prepared for a Show. The variety and construction gives special compliment to the Tree on show. This helps with the composition on display.
Above is Mr Will Baddeley renowned throughout the U.K and Europe as being one of the best Bonsai carvers there is. Just watching his work has you in awe of his forward thinking and foresight. The best way to study trees is by going out and looking at the Natural way they bend and grow.
