KENT BONSAI CLUB LATE SPRING SHOW 2019

This year was the best Club Show to date.
8am saw many Club members present, excited and eager to get started on the setup procedure. Gary our show organiser was at the helm to delegate what had to be done.
Clifford was preparing the kitchen and seating area ready for drinks and hot food. Members set up the large sales area we had in another room where members brought items to sale. Items for sale ranged from accent plants to trees, books, pots and sundry items.
The standard of the displays showed how far most members have come on their personal bonsai journey.  The range in trees alone was mind blowing from small Shohin to Huge Chuhin. The standard of accent plants and display compositions had improved from last year. It was satisfying to see the odd scroll being used with some displays.
The day was spent talking to the public that attended, new friends and members were made.
Shane Hales was awarded best tree in show and the publics choice award for his stunning Trees.
